Development of a Treatment Solution for Eye Diseases Using Independent Three-Wavelength Light Fusion Technology (Development of MEDI-EYE’s prototype is completed)

We have established an optimal light irradiation parameter for LEDs composed of three wavelengths, optimized the LED array through optical simulations, and modularized the control circuits of the light source to create a control system that enables quantitative light irradiation.
Thus, we can compose precise treatment recipes that include the irradiation energy (W/cm2) and irradiation time (sec) according to the disease and patient condition. The light can reach the retina without loss, allowing for efficient treatment. In addition to patients with eye diseases, this technology can be used for comprehensive eye health improvement purposes.

Development of a Software-Based App for Personalized Treatment

Based on treatment recipes tailored to the severity of eye disease symptoms, the parameters of the treatment recipes can be controlled to enable personalized treatment. This allows for real-time monitoring of the user’s eye condition during treatment.
Additionally, using RWD (Real World Data, comprehensive clinical data such as treatment records and health information), evidence-based personalized treatment can also be achieved for disease-specific treatments.
